Very Nice Couples Massage

During our December stay-cation at the Arizona Biltmore, we did Spa Day, on-property, at the Arizona Biltmore Spa. This was my first visit to the Spa, though my wife had done nail treatments there several times, as it is lovely and not far from our home in North Phoenix.We had the Couples Massage , and it was very good, though I wish that they offered a longer treatment. The room was lovely, and very quiet, and the technicians were excellent.The locker rooms are a bit dated, but more than adequate for just our treatment. We did not spend much time beyond the massage, and did not use any of the included facilities.

The good was that some spa time was really needed. I started off with some sort of 7-stage massage thing. There was some mumbo-jumbo about chakras, etc. It also included some odd head massage and pseudo neck alignment. In the end it was worth every expensive penny. It really got me relaxed.But I also got an unnecessary and uninspiring facial that I had to wait over an hour for. Being kept waiting is not great, and they automatically tack 20-percent gratuity on to the bill so its hard not to rescind some of that without feeling like a jerk.

We will be in the Scottsdale area in late October – looking for spa suggestions for a couples massage for our 1 year anniversary. Your help is appreciated!

Both of these sites list the resort spas that are in the Scottsdale area. These will be full luxury experience. My favorite one is Camelback Inn. You would have to call them to see if a couples massage is offered. Many have a separate “side” for men and women, but ask and see.

The other options are the day spas and salons:

This is a spa i have visited and noted they offered a couples massage. The regular massage i got there was great.

Also, we have some massage chains here: Elements and Massage Envy are in Scottsdale.

The resorts will be most expensive of all, then the day spas and then the chains. Go online and look for specials and coupons.

If you are looking for a couples massage for your anniversary, I would go with a resort spa.

The Camelback Inn’s spa is one of the top rated spas in Phoenix/Scottsdale, and has gorgeous views from the pool area. It’s quite large, though, and it does get busy, so book in advance.
