What Is The Difference Between Online Format And Mail Format
Our online format is available to you instantly after you make your purchase. This option allows you to print and/or download our courses to your computer immediately. Text courses are in PDF format which can be downloaded and printed. Online Seminar-On-Demand¨ courses are viewed streaming by clicking a link. Our online format offers the ultimate in convenience and saves you time and money.
Our mail format allows you to obtain a hard copy of the course materials. Text courses are sent in a booklet form. Seminar-On-Demand¨ courses are sent as a DVD-ROM. NOTE: DVD-ROMs can only be viewed on a computer or laptop. They are NOT compatible with standard DVD players.
When you choose the mail format, we will rush you your materials the next business day via Fedex Ground, Fedex Express Saver, or Fedex 2 Day.
Course exams may be completed in our online testing center, by fax or by mail for both the online and mail format.

Ncbtmb Massage Therapy Continuing Education Requirements
It is our current understanding that for Board Certification renewal the NCBTMB requires massage therapists to complete 24 CE hours every 2 years. Of the 24 CE hours, 3 CE hours must be in ethics. Only 4 CE hours can be in self-care.

Massage therapy continuing education requirements for license renewal vary from state to state and the laws are constantly changing. It is our current understanding that Tennessee requires massage therapists to complete 24 CE hours every 2 years for license renewal, of which 2 CE hours must be in Tennessee statutes and rules and 2 CE hours must be in practice management, ethics or substance abuse.

Some accrediting bodies require that we send reports on individual learners, listing unique identifiers, test scores, hours taken, etc. Other accrediting agencies require the student to keep their continuing education data themselves, and only spot check on random audits for actual course completion.

Faqs About Webinar Format Ce Classes
Can anyone take these classes? We will do our best to accommodate you, however, there is limited space in our webinars. All webinars are intended to be continuing education for massage therapists.
What if I am not very computer savvy? Probably at this point, you or someone close to you, has had the chance to work with Zoom. The process is actually quite easy. We will provide you with instructions and support on how to navigate the online learning system.
What do I need to attend a webinar? You will need some type of computing device. That could include a personal computer, a laptop, a tablet, or your smartphone. You will also need a reliable internet connection. Ideally, you would have a massage table set up close to your computer or be able to move your device closer to your massage table. It is recommended that you have a person to work on. You do not need a Zoom account, but you will need to download the Zoom app. We will help you to do that prior to your webinar.
Will I be doing hands-on work? We strongly recommend setting up a massage table and having a body to work on during your class. If you are unable to work on a body during the class, you will still be encouraged to participate.
Will I be able to interact with an instructor? YES! In fact, we have moderators and teacher assistants in many of our webinars, so you may have an opportunity to interact with several different instructors.

Please note that massage therapy laws change frequently and vary from state to state. Although we try to provide the most accurate information available, ultimately it is the responsibility of the student to contact their state licensing bureau to verify massage licensing renewal requirements.
Tennessee Massage Licenses Expire:
Currently, we understand Tennessee to require the following:24 CE hours every 2 years on December 31st of every even year
Of the 24 CE hours, the following hours are mandatory:
2 CE hours must be taken in a live seminar on Tennessee Law,
2 CE hours must be in either ethics, substance abuse or practice management .
8 CE hours can be taken through a home study /online course
