The technician told me that they used plastic for the track and he has seen many many failures. Now my chair is out of warranty and is having similar issues of jerky movements and loud cracks when operating. It will cost about 600 to repair… Overall very disappointed in the quality and reliability as this brand came highly recommended by my mom who lives in Taiwan. I paid over 6k for a chair that lasted less than 3 years… think about that…
