Last week, I had the pleasure of attending Influencer Day at Hand and Stone Downtown Orlando. We were offered either a massage or a facial, and since Ive been dealing with back pain for the past four years, I took the massage without hesitation.
From the moment I walked into the building, before I got a chance to introduce myself or check-in for the event, I was greeted with smiling faces. First impressions are so important in a wellness setting, so it eased my mind to know I would be well taken care of. The waiting area is a very calm, relaxing shade of blue, which made filling out paperwork a breeze.I opted for a hot stone massage , because I work on a computer for usually twelve hours at a time. For the past few months, Ive been experiencing extreme pain in my shoulders and back, since the chairs at work have absolutely no support. I even bought a lumbar support pillow for my chair, which only provides temporary relief.
The full body, hot stone massage lasted for about an hour, and it was such a relief to have my problem areas worked out. I was sore the day after the massage, but the soreness went away fairly quickly. My back felt so much better once I returned to work, although I know Ill face the same problem again in a couple of months.The good news is theres a membership option available to get a massage or facial per month. Other good news: Hand and Stone is open 7 days a week until 10 PM, and walk-ins are welcome.
