Tips & Reviews For Massage Envy

This place is nice. Everyone is very welcoming and the massage was okay. The only thing I didn’t like was that it wasn’t an actual 60min massage. They give you 5mins to change out of your clothes in the room and then 5mins to change back into your clothes so it’s more of a 50min massage. Other then that it’s okay.

The Bf took me here for my birthday a few days ago and I loved it! Couples massage while they had a live band in the background. Loved the salted pool, very relaxing. Definitely recommend going on a Tuesday or Friday night when they have musicians playing the violin while you relax. Will definitely go back! Had a great time!

I am pretty upset that neither Michael or Kasey work here anymore. They were my go to guys and really did a good job. They were both very polite too and had many good conversations with them over the year 1/2 Iâve been a member. Anyway I got a call couple days ago that Michael doesnât work here anymore and was recommended to this new guy because he had a similar pressure. Well, I gave him a shot because why not. We had a pleasant convo before had all good. Well I was wrong. I have never wanted a massage to ever end as badly in my life. I was actually in pain and indicated at one point was hurting my back. I am almost 100% positive I will have bruises on my…read full review

New Sexual Abuse Lawsuit Filed Against Massage Envy on Upper East Side
Complaint alleges inappropriate contact by a male massage therapist in September 2017
NYPD investigated this same location TWICE for sexual assault of clients before this incident
Massage Therapist remains licensed and is believed to be working in the industry still
A new lawsuit has been filed in New York County Supreme Court alleging the sexual assault of a female patron of Massage Envy, the nations largest massage provider.
According to the Complaint, the Plaintiff, identified in the lawsuit as Jane Doe No. 120, made an appointment for a massage on September 9, 2017, at MASSAGE ENVY SUTTON PLACE . When she arrived, the spa assigned SAMUEL ADAM MICHAEL, a licensed massage therapist, to perform her massage. But, according to Jane Does allegations, Michael engaged in inappropriate and sexual behavior with her during the massage. Among other things, she alleges that he touched her vaginal/groin area and buttocks in a sexual manner, and rubbed his own genitals on her repeatedly.
When she tried to report the misconduct to a Massage Envy employee, she was told that Michael had already been the subject of other complaints during his short tenure at the spa.
The chains zero tolerance policy has some significant loopholes that allow for a whole lot of tolerance, apparently, says Arbour.
is now pending in New York County Supreme Court.
