Massage Envy, the pioneer and national leader of professional, convenient and affordable massage and spa services, today announced plans for continued development in Georgia, specifically southern markets including Atlanta, Warner Robins, Macon, Decatur, Bonaire and McDonough. This year, Massage Envy will open two clinics in Georgia, which will fuel future growth opportunities for the brand in the state.
“We’ve seen our existing clinics in Georgia flourish over the last several years,” said Steve Bielewicz, vice president of global franchise sales. “The region was home to some of the first Massage Envy locations and has remained a key target market for additional expansion. We are eager to find potential franchisees who want to start their own business with the support of our successful business model, and provide residents of southern Georgia the benefits of Massage Envy.”
With nearly three-dozen existing clinics throughout the state, Georgia has become a flourishing market for the brand, with two additional clinics opening in Atlanta this year. Massage Envy multi-unit operator Norm Klemmer and his wife Patricia currently have seven clinics in the Atlanta market. The Klemmers opened the brand’s first clinic east of the Mississippi with a franchisee in Roswell, Ga. in 2005. They opened a second location in Buckhead shortly thereafter.
